How many CE units does New Jersey require?
LCADC: 40 hours every 2 years. CADC: 60 hours every 2 years.
Additional Information
6 hours legal standards related to practice of alcohol and drug counseling during initial biennial period and 3 hours for subsequent renewals (requires in-person instruction which includes live webinars).
3 hours cultural competence.
NAADAC programs deemed automatically approved. Half of required hours may be earned by distance learning.
