How many CE units does Texas require?
LMFT: 30 hours every 2 years
LMFT Associate: 15 hours every 2 years
Additional Information
6 hours ethics, 3 hours supervision for supervisors
3 hour cultural diversity
2 hours Telehealth, if performing Teletherapy
Human Trafficking Course- This course has not been approved by TX
LMFT: 15 hours allowed through self-study course or pre-recorded webinar
LMFT Associate: 6 hours allowed through format without real-time interaction
40-hour continuing education course in clinical supervision
